Buying 1st System
Hey guys, I just got a new car yesterday and I am eager to get my system into it. Upon a quick inspection it looks like I have to take off the entire dash to get the stock HU out. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Also, if anyone has tips for getting this system up and running, please let me know! Thanks

Yes I can confirm that you need to take the front dash piece off to get at the headunit. Begin by removing the fuse panels on each side and then unscrewing from there. Pop open the panels under the glovebox and the steering wheel and there are more screws there-8 in total. Then begin at one end and carefully pry off the panel. There are another three screws to actually get the radio out. Good luck. Check out http://www.newimpala.com for more info.

Also, I used the Peripheral GMCO when I replaced my stock radio.

You can bring your power wire in the car under the glovebox, there is a grommet there and I have no problems with 4 gauge.

Well, what do you want to do, ho much do you want to spend, what's your goals with it?
I already have a Pioneer Premier DEH-P960MP Head Unit, 2 MA Audio Amps, CDT Speakers, and 2 15" Adire Audio Tempest subs. I have all the wire as well. I just need to know the easiest way to get the HU in and run the wire just like ShelBrian said.

Thanks Brian!
