Installing speaker box/ amp to factory radio

So, i recently got a new speaker box and amp for my isuzu trooper. I had to get some peice for factory radios so i went and got that. I had a friend help me do it and we got it all hooked up in the back using the back speaker wires and we tested it with the first side and it worked so he went to work on the second one and when he was attaching some wire to the amp it started to spark and my radio went off. So, we replaced a fuse and now my radio turns on but no sound will come out and the light behind the radio is broke. Like the display part. But, songs will continue to play. Someone told me that there is a fuse behind the radio so i took it all out earlier and i couldnt find anything. Can anyone help? Thanks!
