that wont cut it for SQ show lol

well running 0/1 through my car will have a LUMP in the carpet.. and it has ti be screwed down every 6inch or less... and "I hear that it is easier to run under car" so i was wondering if anyone has ever done it. just they want it CLEAN and no lumps in carpet. check out http://www.soundoff.org and check it out. it sucks lol

Don't have pics but I have 2 runs of 1/0 under the carpet and no lumps at all. The runs were right in the corner between the floor and the door jamb.

Why does it have to be screwed down? If you're worried about it moving just use duct tape. Only use for tape of any kind in car audio IMO.

Umm...if it is under the carpet, behind a trim panel, totally out of the way, it's pretty f-ing secure and safe. Use grommets if you run it through any of the stiffening members in the floor. If that isn't sufficient, then someone is really out of touch with reality. Almost reminds me of the old IASCA rules that required you to seal ALL batteries and CAPs from the passenger compartment and vent them to the outside.

Do they actually expect you to pull up the carpet and show them the power wires?

I ran my 0ga in the frame rails and zip tied it to the factory harness .

I used plastic tubing to keep it factory looking...

If GM can run the power lines outside the truck

then I see no reason why I cant
