Installing Pioneer Head Unit

I just bought a Pioneer DEH-P5900IB and it will be the first head unit that i will install and have a few questions? I currently have a 93 F150 with stock head unit in it and was wondering what will i need to hook it up? Will all the wires just hook up or will i need connectors or something? Thanks

you will need a car specific dash kit so its sits right in the dash, also you will need a car specific wire harness adapter.

these can be found at your local best buy circuit city or wal mart

From your previous post, you will most certainly want to get help if you have NEVER installed a H/U before. There is a whole lot that can go wrong if you hook up the wires wrong. Get help on your first install, and then you should be good to go after that.

Well my dads gonna help me but he doesnt know a how lot about car audio either but i think we can figure it out.

Just shell out the $40 and buy smart harnesses from circuit city. They will make the wiring a no brainer.
