ive got a set of PG TI Elites ive had setting in the box brand new for over a year. i want to install them, but whats the best way? my doors have 2 layers of secondskin deadner mat and a layer of closed cell foam. should i do anymore deadening in the doors? should i get or try to do myself a fiberglass box for them. and as far as the tweeter goes, should i mount in the center of the speaker, or put it ontop a few inches, or put up on dash/door pillar somewhere?

not going to be running rear speakers if i can get away with it btw...

edit: 1994 camaro

that sounds like some good deadening in the doors, and by fiberglass boxes do you mean like kick pods or somthing? if you allready have all that deadening in your doors i would put the midrange woofers in the factory spots, and if your really picky just hook up some long wires on your tweeters and double sided tape them at all different places in your car and see what you like the best, right above the woofer, a-pillar, front dash off the glass, whatever you want to try really, ive put some in a new camero and i just put the tweeters above the woofer in the door and they sounded pretty good, but just test and test and see what you like, good luck
