Installing on Saturday...go passive or go active with a PDX-5 and HSK-165s?

Can I go active with my setup that I bought? I have a Alpine PDX-5 and a set of Hertz HSK-165s. My source unit is a Kenwood DDX-514, so I assume I could use it in 5 channel mode and put 75 to each tweeter and 75 to each mid correct? The birth sheet says the amp puts out 124 x 4 actual rms, so I assume it would be enough power. Or should I just bridge the 4 channels to 2 and put 250 watts to each side through the passive network?

Why do you feel the need to go active? Do you know anything about crossover points, time alignment, and phasing?

If you can't answer those questions, then go passive to start knowing you can always switch to active later on if you feel the need to.
