I just got a pair of Polk audio MM571 speakers. they're coxial speaks with external crossovers, and I just want to make sure i put the crossovers in the right way because I've never done them before.
I already have 16 awg wires going from the amp to all 4 speakers. Im going to mount the crossovers in the doors, and connect the wires from them to the speaker wires i already have in. The wires on the crossovers dont look as thick as my speaker wires, but would it still be okay to connect them with with crimp connectors?
And is it better to have the speaker wires shorter to get a better signal? Because I might cut the wires from the crossovers shorter so my speaker wires run right up to them.
