Installing New 6x9's

I'm going to replace my stock 6x9's with some new ones (most likely Infinity9612I) and I was just wondering whether I should just drop them in as is, or if I should put 'em in sealed boxes first? I don't have a sub right now, I might not get one for a bit because my trunk leaks at the moment.

Also, I was thinking of running them off an amp, what would be an appropriate amp for these 6x9's?

6x9's tend to be infinite baffle but I think everything sounds better in some form of enclosure. I'd seal them. Just my $.02.
Thanks for your input. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
