Installing my head unit

I have a 2003 Dodge Neon 2.0 R/T, and I was tring to install the head unit on it but that stupid thing that you gotta take off, is driving me nuts cause it's connected to my air vents. Does anyone know how to that it off?

like most other american cars its prob. like a lego...you might just hav to tug off the whole piece or get a pannel pryer to pop it off or a nice flat head screw dirver will do the job...also you might want to try looking for "hidden" screws like on the underside.

I tried that but it's connected right to my air vents.

pop ur vents off... there's 2 screws behind them... then the panel will come off fine
