Installing DD TV in 03 Impala

Need some help guys. Got a new car and puttin in a TV. Few questions:

What adaptor do I need? Most adaptors are usually like $10 but I've been lookin on ebay and some are like $100. I don't care about keeping the steering wheel controls but it would be nice to have the tv not turn off until I open up the door.

Also is there something I need to do special so that the TV will play when the car is in drive?
