It is highly likely that the wiring harness for the 9851 and the 9835 are the exact same. If so it will be a simple matter of pull out the old deck and slide the new one in after swapping over the appropriate connections - akin to when I went from my now for sale KDC-X679 to the XXV-01D I'm currently using. (My car is essentially the same as a Corolla) I pulled out the old one, disconnected the 3 sets of RCAs, the antenna lead, and the wiring harness. Reconnected all those cables to the appropriate spots on the new  deck and slid it in the dash (the two decks even use the same cage - couldn't have been any simpler!)</p></blockquote><p></p>
