That Bazooka gear may be low end but at the price point that you pay at a B&M dealer it generally sounds ok. The amps are rock solid little bastards. I like the install. I did something similar in my Buddys 81 Chev truck. Just a suggestion for front speakers, if buddy wants more sound up front its very easy to cut the bottoms of the doors for 6 1/2s, lotsa room behind there too.

Actually, no I didn't. The research I did before installing it, lead me to believe that cutting it out was the way it was done.

Ya, there is a simple trim plate that goes around the whole thing that is the shape of that section of the dash. Most places should probally carry them. I know my shop sells them for like 25$ CND.

Thanks for the tip on the dash kit. I found one on Crutchfield for $20. I'll see if he wants to get it. Its his decision and his money, if ya know what I mean.

good job on the box! i could just imagine how much ofa pain it was to work w/ that laminate crap though, but u did excellent.

but hey, he's got a top notch enclosure, theres' always time to improve/upgrade equipment.

not a bad first setup at all. It may pick up some output, or drop when the interior is in, it should change somewhat I would think. Hope all is well with it, and he likes it.

you still have to cut. but its just a trim pice with an opening for teh radio. it screws on with the factory screws that hold the plastic on around the radio.
