installing a HU (*quicky*)...

I've always wondered if it made a difference. Do you have an explanation to why you say negative and someone else says positive? Just wondering.

Basicly because your less likely to accidently have the wire touch some other metal or something while the batt can give juice, thus lessening the chance of accidently welding some sh*t together or shocking yourself ect.

well still if there aint nothin hooked to the positive side, then u wont get shocked if the neg side is still hooked up

well i used the crutchfeild guide to disassemble my stock Hu, and it said negative, so thats what i did, worked perfect.

Supercharger, nah. I think you got me confused with sppdracer. Although i do know much about cars. That one just always got me because when i was working on cars i would disconnect the positive, when my dad (who will know more about cars than i, or probably anyone here, will ever know) always disconnected the negative.
