Ingrown Toenail FTL

Well I just got another ingrown toenail taken out. This is about the 3rd or 4th time I've had to go the doctor for these in the past 2 years. First time he just cut off the edge but it didn't work so a while later he did it again. Didn't work so then I got my whole toenail taken off which completely sucked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. It healed back and all was good until recently my other big toe started to hurt and I knew what it was.

It got kind of bad because I had to wait for my doctor to have an opening and I just got it taken out today. He just took off some of the side again. Soaking it now so hopefully it heals well. Ingrown toenails sure do **** though. Moral of the story, Take care of your feet!!!!!

Sometimes it has nothing to do with taking care of your feet, a lot of the time it's hereditary. My girl had them, last time got it done so it'll never come back again. Looked like it hurt though, fawk that

I had one onetime. They hurt. They cut like 1/5 of the width of my toenail off. Oh and btw it doesn't grow like it used to.

Yea because I have insurance I'm going to take advantage. I don't live in the middle ages without modern medicine. If you would rather try and do it yourself and get infected then go ahead but you're supposed to go to the doctor.

i did them out on my own...just pull it up with the nail file on your clippers and then clip it off

i just had mine done he took the side off then they put a liquid on it that kinda cauterizes everything and that side will never grow back

No, because you went to the doctor for a non-sensical procedure. You're clogging the system up with retarted doctor visits that increase the cost of insurance for the rest of us.

Take some cotton and stick it it between the side of your nail and your skin. Soak your toe before doing this. Leave it in all day until you soak your foot again the next evening. Replace the cotton at that time. It's what my doctor told me to do (rather than cutting it out) because it doesn't really hurt and it straightens the nail out.

i had the doctor cut mine out 1x..then it grew back so i kept cutting it out, but i waited to long and it grew into my toe so i cant reach it without almost passing out from pain...so i just leave my toe alone...it only hurts if i hit it on sumting
