hey, i was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the infinity perfect VQ subs and the normal perfects. i tried to find some info on it on the official infinity site but i can only find home speakers there. thanks
Ok, basically "VQ" stands for variable que. These are little metal inserts that go in the magnet of the sub to adjust it so that it will work in different sized boxes. Basically, if you drop the right que in the sub it will work to its top potential in any box. Also, the Kappa Perfect VQ's are a little bit more powerful than the 10.1's. (I just so happen to have a pair of barely used Kappa Perfect 10 VQ's for sale if you're interested.)
I'm trying to get $200.00 plus shipping for them. The SQ on them is great! They responded quickly and accurately no matter what kind of music I put to them, and I was VERY impressed. The SPL on them is also good, I had them in a sealed box and have never tried them in a ported box, but in a sealed box they sounded really good. They are single voice coil subs.
