its a 4ohm DVC, will be wired at 2ohm to an Xtant 6001. I need a ported box for it..Anyone has any dimensons I can use? Thanks...

It calls for 1.75 ported box...

Or 1 ft sealed.

Should I go sealed or ported??????

If you need a design or build, I can help you out, but it depends more on your car than anything. I mean, you can take any of the designs in my sig that are around 1.75 cubes, but it may not fit in your trunk.

I am only using one 12D VQ wired at 2ohm....

Sealed or Ported I am clueless as how it would be best for that sub......Please help me decide...

well i would say that sealed, this sub sounded like it was sql oriented because it hit every note, but some were better than others. that's why i think if you go ported you will lose reproduction in certain areas. but thats just me. ask soler what he thinks about how vqs sound ported. personally, i think they got plenty loud without the port. it was getting 400rms from 1 chan. of a rf 801s. you're giving it slightly more power so it should sound even nicer.

if it's like the old IKP 12.1's then 2.5 @ 28 hz with 35is sq in of port.

Just watch the power and let the low notes reign.

Some say ported, some say sealed. I guess either would be fine!

My suggestion is also based off an earlier, different design, so... take it for what it's worth.
