I know all about the virutes of buying second had gear belive me. I've got a bit of a home audio addiction as well and you can get some real good value by snagging some of the high end gear made in the 70's and 80's. Though on the car audio front the issue that I have is that most componets live a much harder life than there home bound relatives and in the case of second hand it's sold as is. Honestly with all things considered I'm thinking I'm gonna stik with the Alpha. I remember that even after the Anaba Group bought them out in 2002 they continued to make some **** fine amps and if the 12005E turns out to be more boom than sizzle she'll get returned and I'll take a look at on of her compeditors. Though I do appreciate the input and help. Ok so the MB are out though the infinity's still intrigue me. I've been accoused of likeing "bright" speakers before so that may be a personal taste. Though I'll also take a look at what CDT has to offer in my proce range. I've heard good things about CDt though it's mainly been about there amplifiers. I appreciate all the feed back I've gotten form you guys in such a short time.
