aight, first off, im stupid. ill bring this to the front so complications can be avoided later

k, ive got an infinity perfect 12.1. i've built a .8^3 sealed box for it. infinty specs recommend a 1^3 sealed box. how much better would the sub sound if i switched to a 1.3^3 sealed box? do i need any polyfill or dampeners or anything? the sub distorts at moderatly high volumes, it doesnt "bump" too well. i bought it for its sq, but had hoped it would keep its sound quality at higher volumes. i dont have my bass cranked all the way up, i use it to compliment that rest of the music. im running a profile clarus 800, mono 600w 4ohms. maybe amp is negitively affecting performance? thx for the help
