Infinity Basslink

Ok I have searched through the forums on this, and found pretty much a mixed bag of reviews, some good, some bad for this. After listening to my new set up for a few days now I feel like it is missing something (currently have a Pioneer 6800MP, Aura RPM 4200 amp and Infinity Kappa speakers).

This is all in a 2000 F-150 so I am pretty short on space for subs and boxes. The basslink looks like it would fit pretty well under the back seat. I don't want anything incredibly loud, I just want to fill in the missing gap in my sound.

If I had the money I would look into the JL Stealthbox, but 1) I don't have the money, and 2) when I sell the truck I end up losing the expensive box and having to start again. The Alpine PLT-5 also looks nice, but it's $500 which again is too much (are the Alpine PLT's worth this much money??).

So is the Basslink worth it? would it be enough sound for the truck's cab? Like I said I don't have much space and really just want enough bass to not leave me thinking that my music is missing something.

Thanks.

The basslink probably sounds decent......but for less money, you can get a small amp, a 10" sub and box.

I have an Alpine amp (150watts), JL 12" sub and box.....total price $250. That basslink is about $300.

Yeah I am debating something like that too, I think first I need to measure what space I have under the back seat and work from there.

If I go the seperate sub/box/amp route I can free up 2 channels on my amp and already have 150RMS there which can then be used on the sub. Just need to decide on how to get a box to fit.

Yep, that would be your best bet. If you cant figure out the box issue......have a local shop make you a custom one. You can probably get it done for about $100 or so, and then use another $100 on a good subwoofer.
