infiniti g37 metra kit question

I've been searching for quite a while now and can't find an answer. I know the ugly g37 Metra kit is for non nav only. But what would happen if I installed it in my car with nav? Would I just lose nav or would it cause more problems? I emailed metra and they couldn't give me an answer either. They just said that it wouldn't work. Which I'd guess because they don't want me trying it then sending it back if I screw something up.
