in dash nav

well..i have looked and only found the eclipse avn5100...but what i am looking for is a In dash nav that has its own slot for the navigation and has a slot for dvds so i can play movies or dvd mp3 disc..without having to interchange dvd's...so i dont lose he 500$$$ navigation disc.ha. i was looking at the avic d3 but i didnt like the idea of having to change out the discs..are there any others that are out there that i am un aware off..i dont WANT to spend more than $1300

Kenwood DDX-6019, DDX-7019, DDX-8019, and the KNA-G510N solid state nav unit. You can easily get the 8019+nav for under $1300.00 authorized. If you want to save some money, you can go with one of the other units.

the thing about the avn 5500 is it has the cd reader..and i wanted 2 dvd readers...or 1 dvd depending if the navigation maps are built in.. so its the navigation slot and an additional slot that plays dvd's

DDX-6019 + KNA-G510...is the nav built into that box/chip or does it use the dvd slot?

the ddx-7019 looks pretty nice. i like the usb

DNX7100 idk i didnt read it exactly..so im double checking but the navigation is built in correct

Eclipse AVN6610 is Dual DVD Drive and is about $1,350 or less on ebay (sort by price lowest first), or $1,399 here http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9220_Eclipse+AVN6610.html . It is 7" not 6.5" as mistaken in the sonicelectronix site.

Or you can go with Clarion HDD based DVD navi, (navigation data is stored in HDD). The combo is MAX675VD (HU) and NAX970HD (HDD-based navi). You can find these brand new on ebay for $1,200 + $40 shipping = $1,240, or on http://www.abesofmaine.com
