in dash monitor...

Yeh, I know you can find them new for like 700 for a prety good one. I was thinking about just have the motorized screen and hooking it up to a cd/dvd player in a remote location. (and a suggestion by a friend just hook up ps2 for cd/dvd/ps2 capabilities)

sony can put out some crap like xplods but I think they excell outside the car world in tv picture, no wonder they make a nice car tv. I like that monitor but it lacks a internal cd player, correct?

Take a look around and post some head units you find in your price range and we'll let you know if they are legit.

I think thats my cash limit. I still need to buy everything else for my car. I'm thinking buy that first, run it for like a month, maybe not even that then do you think I should install my subwoofers then me speakers, other way around or at the same time. subs and speakers on different amps.

i have the pioneer avh-p6400cd, the only downside is you need separate unit for dvd's, pain in the *** and entails ALOT of custom work for a game system if you want it to look good
