In-Dash Monitor/Head Units

Is it true that if you have a motorized LCD screen (7") for nav that comes out of your DIN size head unit, that that head unit will have lower sound quality than a stand alone unit? I have heard that, but that Alpine does a good job of eliminating that difference. Any truth to this? I am looking at the AVIC-N1 from Pioneer.

BTW, wtf is mosfet? like mosfet 50 watt.

there is no reason it should have lower quality. the avic-n1 does not ahave a 7' display. the avic-n1 isnt the greatest indash nav/media headunit.
