In dash changer removal

I am looking to purchase a 2003 Nissan Altima. Its a 2.5 SL and comes with a factory 6 disc in dash changer. I was wondering if anyone ever removed one of these and if it would really be worth it to remove. I would be installing an Alpine cda-9835 in its place. Also it has a bose system, would the Alpine be ok to use with the existing bose speakers. I would like to add a sub but dont really wanna replace front and rear speakers too.
