Hey nswartley, how do you like your USX4065? Is it a good amp? I ordered one last night from thezeb.com. I'm gonna go 65W @ 4-ohms to some 5 1/4" Alpine Type X Components.

you will be perfectly happy with it im sure (unless you get one of the ones that makes an engine noise...) but even if you do get a 'faulty' one, it can be fixed perfectly with a ground loop isolator (type of sound filter). its a great amp overall, and it will give you good clean power

and you are gonna love the type x's.....

Nice, that helps. Thanks bro.

Money is no issue? can you say Lotus? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

There are a LOT of "imports" (depending on where you live //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) that kick ass, but most are expensive.. the cheap ones pretty much ****..

My biggest issue is with things like GM buying BMW (there is a Caddy out there with a Beemer engine).. What was once great cars are gonna slowly become crap as they try to minimize production costs and still manage to charge out the snoot for the badge.. *sigh*

You can't even put a system in a Lotus Elise, although I would ****ing love one ... Mmmm, best handling car in the world *drools*
BMW has Bentley, Mercedes has Rolls Royce.

I could be wrong, but I'd swear there was a merger or buyout or some crap.. *shrug*

But, the Detroit companies are buying other companies like mad.. bugs me..

And, I'd immagine you could put a decent system in the Lotus if you didn't care to have a passenger... and with the way I'd be driving it, no one would get in the car with me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I was thinking the Esprit Turbo though.. is that the one? or is it the Elise.. it was in Pretty Woman..

Originally posted by Jmac I thought it was 5.5 seconds and 6300 lbs ... Anyways, it's a personal limousine and you'd need to pay someone to drive you around ... I highly doubt it would even be fun to drive with that much weight ...

Anyways, Mercedes doesn't own Maybach, DaimlerChrysler does ... Well, it should probably just be Chrysler since everyone knows that that "merger" was no merger ... More like a buyout ...

Oh, and I was wrong, BMW just bought out Rolls Royce and Volkswagen bought out Bentley :p
jmac we might be talking about two different models. They both have numbers, like the 47 and the 52 or something. I'm talking about the 52. I read about it in Motor Trend in "First Looks" in the latest issue.

For some reason when I look at the Elise and blink my eyes all I can see is a Nike shoe.

Esprit looks like a glorified Fiero.

If money was no object I'd mod my car to the gills and never look back. (It's a Ford //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)

I'd get a Viper...but I love M3's, Supras, Skylines, etc.........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
