Sold Immaculate Concept CEX-12 DVC 6's (American Made)

I was misled by the seller when I bought these (ebay).

I thought I was getting a more powerful DVC 2.

I was redesigning my single 12" enclosure to accomodate this pair, but then I ran across the sub I've been wanting for a couple years so I don't need these.

They're in immaculate condition. They look unused. Original packaging.

They are 12" DVC 6's 460w rms with a low Fs of 25.99. EBP is 59.5 so they should work well ported or sealed. And would match up about perfectly with a mono amp that's around 1000@1 ohm.

I have PDF files for t/s data and factory enclosure recommendations if that would help.

I have only connected them to my 100w@6ohm home receiver at 12 ohms to verify they do work.

I will gladly throw one or both (one at a time, obviously) in my current enclosure 2.7cf at 29hz if you'd like a report.

It would be run with a Zed Optidrive 1000.1D at 3 ohms so 550w rms give or take. I may do that anyway just to check them out.

I can only speculate, but I would expect these to perform on the level of a Type R. I've seen them compared to a JL 12w3 and I believe they were close to the same price when they were on the retail market.

I want to get $80 shipped per sub.

Or I'd do both for $140 shipped.

Yessir.

I was all set to come up with a box for them (small ported or big sealed) using my 1000.1D at 1.5. That would have been just about perfect IMO - a lot of power w/o completely stressing the amp.

What are the enclosure requirements

Concept recommends 1.0-1.5 sealed or 1.0-1.25 ported (yes, that small) tuned to 35 and 33 respectively.

However, I put it in winisd and got the ideal flat response at 2.7 tuned to 26, F3 at 26 hz. Rolls off very slow from 40 to 30 (40 @ 0.2dB and 30 @ -1.1).

The recommended box looks fine too - there's a 1.6-1.7dB peak in the 50's, but I'm guessing Concept knows what works in terms of plots vs. real world.
