I just picked 2 12" IDQ's up V2, DVC 4ohm. I bought a PPI Art Series A600.2 to power them. They are in a sealed box that's a little bigger than needed (more than 1.2 ft per driver about) Basically I am wondering if they will fill a Blazer with enough bass to suit my deaf ***. I like hard quick hits- i listen to mostly techno, metal (as hardcore as you can get), classic rock, and rap and screw when I need to shake it down.

They sound pretty good on 200 watts to 4 ohms in my sisters Toyota Tercel...

I had a 15" Bhrama to 32htz in 4 cubes with 1kw before: that was perfect.

Thing is i could sell them at no loss easily, and get something louder. Or I could easily put up with 4 12" IDQ's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif once I got the money for two more.

Would the 2 12's be enough... or will I have to find another setup. I had 15" ported bhrama running (estimated) low 140's. Will these be close?

In terms of SQL, not pute hardcore SPL. The feel, if anything.

I am extemely leery of pushing these subs to any means. They look fragile to me. I don't want to end up like with the Infinity 10.1's and mushing the cone, snapping the tinsel leads and shit.

Because I have never heard either one, I would not take anything I say to seriously!!!

But, I would think, you will be disappointed going from 1 15” brahama to 2 12” idqs.

If the 2 idqs is all you have, then its good bass for music needs, but if your looking for some hard hitting insane bass, or even something just little better then your old setup, I think you will have to go with something else… just my opinion…

In Flames, Atreyu, Powerman 5000, Rob Zombie, Cold, Deftones... Anything. Superjoint Ritual, Megadeth. The more well rounded, harder and cleaner hitting the sub is, the better.

Well, I'll see waht happens. It's either that or a 10" RE MT, or an Inhuman 15", or a million other things.

If you listen to that kind of music, you should be happy with the IDQ'S. If you've got the amp, and you've got the subs, why are you asking us if it'll be enough bass...go hook it up and see.

IMO it will be plenty, but I'm an SQ guy, not so much SPL.
