around here, you need atleast 1kwatts to get anyone attention. i toyed with an ID12v3 and great sub nice and clean. as for the hertz.. i have no experience.

I had 2 ID10's off 500watts. I would say 250 would be perfect for one 12. I enjoyed mine.

and yes i ran my pair off of a memphis mcd500 so 250 sounds just right.

Both look like they would get the job done. The ID12 is a very clean sounding sub but doesnt have much SPL kick. Ive never heard that model of the Hertz but im sure it would be about the same. Since you already have something Hertz in your car you might as well match it with the substage.

well this isn't for my car, its actually my friends car which im trying to help put a budget SQL system together for him!

my car consists of Hertz Mille Components, Hertz Mille Sub, and Audison Amp...
