hmm what are horns bassicially? like a tweeter but very loud? i may be interested as seeing my vocals are very drained out because of bass. how much power would they need? do they need to be active?

A horn is basically what the driver mounts to. It directs soundwaves in distinct directions.A compressed drived is what mounts to the body. Somone else can explain what it is alot better than I.

It's not really a tweeter but yes very, very loud.

They need very little power. You'll find yourself tuning these down if your trying to put full power to them.

I would run them active but I suppose you could find some passive crossovers from ID.

Well, what would it depend on? Better yet, is there anything you are looking for? I have the $250, I would rather trade then spend it on something I dont even know will fit my truck. I have had them in the past and none have fit...these are the only ones I havent tried.

I tell you what. I'll send them to you for test fitment. If they don't fit send them back. If you think they will then we have a deal.....

I was measuring what the driver mounts to but angled the camera wrong. It's 4" in this pic.
