I found an amp that would be perfect if my subs were D2 instead of D4

My question is can I bridge the 2 channels but still hook up 2 subs (940 at 4 ohms bridged sending 470 to each sub)

RMS Power Output: 235 Watts x 2 @ 4 Ohm Stereo

Peak Power Output: 470 Watts x 2 @ 2 Ohm Stereo

Birdged Output: 940 Watts x 1 @ 4 Ohm Bridged

You've got a pair of DVC 4 Ohm subs and you're wanting to power them off of a 2-channel amp running at 1-channel mono bridged?

If so then Yes!

Follow this wiring method:

Cool, I just didn't know if bridged mode worked the same as a mono block amp. So If I wired it like that and bridged the amp it would be like hooking it up to a Mono amp with 940W @ 4 ohm rating right?

It will work like a monoblock when speaking of it being a single, mono output channel. The main difference being that most 2-channels amps operating in bridged mono mode aren't stable below 4 Ohms whereas most true monoblocks are.

Correct.
