Im so excited I just bought a RL-I 8!!!!!

well, I just put in the purchase for a new rl-i 8. Im going to be running it in a 1.25 cu ft box @ 28 hz. it will be powered with 500 watts rms US amps power. I will post a review after installed. After that, I will add a second one,feeding them EACH with 500 watts rms!!! I cant wait!....keep you updated.

seems to me a 1.25 ported is a little big for this driver. SS recommends much smaller

you dont know what your talkin about. ss says that so they arent liable when a bunch of people who dont know what they are doing build giant boxes for 8's and expect to be able to power them as if they were in smaller boxes. their rms is about 300w i believe, but you can push it with 800w and still be fine.
