The most non-confrontational way to get tested is by giving blood. They do not test for everything like a dr would, but for major things.

if you get a regular PA, it really isn't that bad painwise or manage, its a very thin piece of skin it goes through.

Now if you are getting a reverse PA, or a vertical/horizontal APA, they are alittle more painful from what I understand because it goes through more flesh.
