Well guys i'm depressed, i don't understand whats going on.

Last spring i entered a SPL event and scored a 144 w/ 1 DD 9510, not bad i thought to myself, i want another one of these 9510's and be crazy loud!!

So i go to basic training this summer and come back with lots of money, i buy my 2nd 9510, a Z1, some batts to go with it. Got done with my first install and blow one of my 9510's really fast. I get both of them reconed to Dual 2 ohm yesterday morning and wait the 24 hours i was told to

I come home today to finish my install, put the box in, get everything wired up, play some tunes, and its not loud at all, like not even close to what my old setup with one of these and not even half the power was...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I fidget with the amp a bit, a slight increase, but there is NO excursion, none, zip, zero, cero, whatever. I know these are fresh recones but still, shouldn't i see SOMETHING? So here are a few things i'm questioning...

1. Could this be caused by to much/ little port? I used (2) 6" PVC pipe to go with aero ports, tuned to 45 hz...

2. Could it be because the ports run underneath the subs?

3. To small of a box? After all displacements it comes out to 2.65 net

Did you double check the wiring?Might be out of phase.

45-48 is what my truck peaks at...

Is that what the box peaks at or just what you tuned it to?

Sounds like they are out of phase, Also make sure the sub out on your deck is at +15 before setting gains

Wait till after the subs break in. After they break in they will get louder

if your truck peaks at around 45hz, tune lower about 8-10hz. you dont want to tune your box to the peak of your truck. you make your box peak at that frequency to take advantage of the trucks peak

already checked it...i'm running it at 2 ohms

Put a 9 volt battery on the pos and neg. Ensure that they both go out or in together. Just cause it reads 2 ohms they could still be out of phase.

what do you mean by not moving? If they're really like NOT moving or very very slightly moving, it straight up means they aren't getting much power, or are out of phase, there's not really any other explanation unless they were in a ridiculously tiny sealed box
