ignition relay

I did a search, but im not real clear on the answers given. I was thinkin if I wanted my HU to stay on when I remove my key from the ignition could I just put the accessory/igntion(red) together with the battery(yellow) and hook them up together with the battery wire from the wire harness? pls go from this pic as a reference so we're on the same page, thanks.

thanks for the help, is there any way u guys can see that i culd mess this up? I just have to take the wireharness off my pioneer and match up the colors with an alpine.

also on a side note, the guy im buyin from had an 05 accord so he has that harness on the alpine right now. i have a 98 accord but wen i go to cardomain the harness says accords 98+ unless the accord has climate control or navi then ud get a diff harness. I'm pretty sure the harness should be the same(saving me some work takin off his harness and putting my current one with the alpine). my question is if there is any difference and the harnesses turn out not to be interchangeable between our cars, could i just look and see a difference in the size/shape of the plastic part of the harness where i'd connect it to my car? if i dont see a difference do i run any risk pluggin it into my car to see if it works? if any risk at all of damaging anything i could just rewire the alpine with my current harness. thanks for any help
