i think if taylor was smart and saved his energy and quit throwing wild punches he could have gotten his *** but he didnt so "the ghost" took care of him in the corner in the 7th round

some1 really needs to teach taylor how to stay out of the corner...guess ill have to show him up in little rock someday...but if they have a rematch it will be very interesting

Woot, least there are a couple boxing fans on this site. Seems to be a dieing sport and I for one hope Kelly Pavlik saves it and think he can being he is in one of the better divisions. Not to mention he lives down the street from me, lol! Have to say being from Youngstown and him winning will put once thriving Y-Town back on the map! I miss the old days of Ray "BOOM-BOOM" Mancini. I have ment Kelly on a couple occasions and he is really a layed back kid and has a good head. Mix that with his skilled profession and you have a deadly weapon in there.

Anyway about the match, have to admit, Jermaine Taylor must have trained his *** off for this match, cause he loooked really good through out the whole fight. I mean it was like he was a different fighter compared to his last few fights. Then he knocked Kelly down in the second round and I thought for sure it was gonna end when Kelly got back up, he was like a tidder todder! He stayed up with the wild punches of Taylor, which is where Taylor screwed up. Wasted to much energy and just got sloppy. Have to say, not only is Kelly skilled, poweful but has a ton of will! He showed it last night and proved he is not a joke like a lot of people thought being he didnt face many tough opponets. Well he just took the cream of the crop and chopped him down.

Got to love when a good ole boy from Youngstown gets recognized!
