Anyways I went to chase today to deposit some checks and my account is about 250 dollars low... I am like wtf thinking somebody stole my account info. So I talk to the bank managers and they go well you owed money from a previous bank that we bought out and they just took the money out of the account. I am like wtf!! I knew I owed that money but wasn't aware of them owning them and wasn't aware they could just up and do that with no notice. What if that was my rent money?? would they care if I was homeless.... no. I understand I owed the money but I believe they should have to notify you that they are going to do it by law

Maybe you should be a little more responsiable and not have debt just hang out there like that:confused: huh? You probally switched banks because you owed them money. it wasnt your money anyways if you owed that bank it anyways. This is nothing to "warn" people about if they bank with Chase... they bought a bank that YOU had a debt with... Now its there DEBT... YOU had the money and were choosing not to pay them.

I don't see the problem here. I am sure it is 100% legal and I see no problems with them balancing the books of accounts they own. So they should allow one of their divisions to show a loss when they have money from you in a positive account?

I'd take your **** money from one account to cover a bad debt you owed me on another too.

x2

When a bank loans you money or when you charge shit on a credit card you agree to pay them back so when you fail to do that they potentially lose all profit they could of made off of loaning it to you and basically want a little bit of it back (They may send it to collections or sell the debt to someone else)

So if you cant pay your bills how good is your word, do you lie and scam other people?
