If my cd player doesn't work, will aux still work if it's on the same button?
The aux button is shared with the CD player, so it does technically have a signal going in for the CD player. The pin connector I'd be attaching the aux/bluetooth to is attached to the CD player. The CD player initially worked (2016-2017), then progressively deteriorated until probably 2018 it was completely dysfunctional, as well as all the buttons. Still has 6 CDs in it lol. Radio works just fine. The pattern of deterioration makes me think something in the electronics is fried, it's just a question of whether it's the player itself or deeper in the system where it will impact an aux as well. It might be worth trying it for shits and grins, but I have a feeling I'll pull it all open to plug in the connector and it won't work anyway. The mod I have my eye on is $140 which is the main reason I'm hesitating so much.
