lol i know right. i was talking to one of my engineering professors today. she use to work in construction as a project manager or whatever. she said heavy equipment operators, like cranes and what not, make easily over $100k. i was like damn, where do i sign up.

uh making pizzas and doing that aren't the same thing. in michigan pizza delivery people don't even make minimum wage

i asked her if there was a program on campus for something like that, and there isn't. i guess its pretty much getting the right experience, which i dont think would be too hard.

how can a pizza place pay an employee more per hour then they can sell a pizza for? michigan is one of the fatest states in the country so we most sell a lot of pizzas, so i don't see why they would pay so much less here

my bro has a lot of customers who been to college and they tell him they wish they never went. Spend 100,000 to go to college and they have people with only high school diplomas workin the same jobs they do. they said if they could do it over they wouldnt.

Yup and im sure statistics back you up.

It truly is a bad investment of time to get educated because education has zero impact on median income levels.

thats what im thinking, i mean i dont really know anyone that gets their pizzas delivered. i never deliver, i always pick it up. but i bet it costs about $0.50 to make a pizza so thats where they make their money.

running a resturaunt isn't cheap. you have to run the ovens and all the refridgeration units, i'm sure they pay more then 50 cents for dough, sauce, cheese, toppings.

iono i'm just guessing. but i bet alot of that pizza is pure margin. but after the costs of owning the business and stuff it doesn't add up to much.

not to mention they're paying their delivery guys $40k a year lol.
