Yes that equals 29... how YOU look at it and how it is are two different things tho. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifBravo
That makes sense..but if u look at it as 9x3=27
27+2=29...
Its implied...If they originally paid $10,and then the bell boy gives each one of em a dollar, that means they now paid 9 each, making that 9x3=27why would you do 9x3 at all? that is no where in the word problem?
Thats the purpose of the riddle...finding why it comes out right when u do it one way but when u try another it doesnt add upYes that equals 29... how YOU look at it and how it is are two different things tho. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
The flaw is here. Forget the $30, they didn't pay $30 essentially.Think again....Each fisherman originally paid $10 each, then they all got a dollar back, that means$9x$3=$27
The bell boy kept $2, that means
$27+2= 29
sooo wheres the other dollar???
