So I've had this IDQ10 sitting on the floor for months, while I've been driving around sub-less listening to mostly AM radio. So the other day I bought a 10" box from Mike Dressure (Thanks!) and dropped the sub in. It looks very nice, mostly because I didn't build the box .. Anyways I just installed it and went for a quick drive and WOW. I'm in love. The IDQ easily smacks my twin TC2+ system. The TC2's where 12", had 3x the space and 1000w from the belle and where much louder. However the IDQ brings me back to my IDW system in clarity and responsiveness. Once again the little 10 is lacking output in comparison but it blends with my front stage SOOO much better. Before the TC2+'s and to some degree the IDW's over powered my mids and made it sound a little muddy. Sure the TC2's where great for pounding my ears with bass tracks but they can't even touch this little IDQ10 for other material. Anywho, I'm lovin' this little sub. F*CK SPL, yay SQ! I can finally rest with my system and ENJOY it rather than changing it every 6 weeks.
