What are the differences between versions 1, 2, 3, 4? Ive seen the V4, V2, V3 or w/e next to them all the time. Is there a big difference between subs?

No not really. Just a few things. Try to get the latest versions though.

yes, lots of times, they change the softparts - ie the surround and spiders, sometimes the motor to allow more excursion in the newer versions and a flatter response. many little issues are resolved and the newer versions are better than the older ones, but the old ones CAN be reconed with new parts to give them an 'update'. a single 12" recone is $95+shipping to them.

There is no v4 available on the "open market". There was a IDMax10v4 prototype floating around for some demo, but nothing publicly available.
