ID8D4 V.3 power handleing

I would say the ID has a better SQ compared to the JL.
DIDDO, for what the 8's will do...the JL's are clean but i've always like the ID subs even though i've never personally ran any of them so i guess it's just my opinion.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I had a JL8w3 and wouldn't buy one again, FWIW.

I've never heard the ID8, but am a fan of ID gear, so I'm guessing it's just as nice as any of the other stuff they make.

As far as power handling is concerned, it's more a function of the enclosure design than anything else...

FIWI, I'm running an IDQ10V3 on an amp that makes twice as much power as what it's rated for... no problems.

I don't know if the 8's power handling is the same as the 10" model but I have a single id10 and I am using a kicker zx250.2 that is rated at 313 watts rms and it handles it perfectly fine. It is in a .7 sealed cubic foot box and it sounds great.
