I was going to can my idea of getting an ID12 or two, but this video games me want to rethink that..

i bought 3 ID12s as a complete impulse buy. i already have two ported rl-p's but the IDs were so cheap i'm gonna run 3 sealed to see how they are hehe. i put two of them in the ported rl-p box i got and they get pretty dang loud and sound good for what they are

IDs are great sounding drivers.. but i sure do love my maxes.

The W3's are EXACTLY what i would compare the IDv3 to. I've never had experience w/ the new w3v3's but i don't see how they're much of an upgrade from the v2's. I've also never heard IDQs but I imagine that their output capabilities are pretty sad

Yeah, from what I've heard, they should be louder than IDQ's, but they won't sound as good.

my three ID 12's , see avatar for pics, was insane, I loved how they sounded and they got really loud.

I've got a vid on ROE, not all that impressive but multiple drivers =D

I usually hate head to head sub questions, but how would you compare the ID12 to an Assassin? I can't find too much specific info on the ID12 performance, but it seems like the ID will be a bit louder, while the Assassin will have slightly better SQ. True?

i've never heard assassins but i have no idea where you came up w/ that idea... image dynamics is not known for their SPL capabilities. i'd take ID over AA any day
