ID CX64 or CTX65 for real fill?

So I bought a pair of ID CTX65CS a while ago that I haven't put in my car. I can get a good deal on cx64's or ctx65's from a friend, a really good deal actually. Would these be good for rear fill? I would probably put like 100W to each of the speakers. Would they need a crossover or no?

they'd be great for rear fill. the cx64 would be a comp set where as the ctx65's are a coax unless you mean like the ones you already got. if i were you i'd get the cx64 put those up front and the ctx65cs in the back.

The cx64 would just be the speakers without the tweeters and crossover, like these..

,and the ctx65 is just the coaxial speaker, my ctx65cs are the comp set.

I was thinking either way that I would put the comps up front because of the tweets while the coaxials in the rear, but I know that the cx64's alone, are a better speaker than the my comps, so maybe put them up front instead.

i have the chameleon csx64 component set up front.. monster mid-bass, you would think i have mini-subs up there

if your talkin about the ctx65 coax's no you won't need an outboard xover those are made for drop in changes for speakers.

is that really for any coaxial speaker? what about hcx165's?

some company's make some coax's with an outboard xover but htey are usually a lil more money.
