never hear much about these, how would they be compared to sa's? thinking of doing a dual 12" spl box tuned around 45Hz getting 1500-1800w.

I'd run the SA's if your going for numbers. The LI will prolly sound better daily while keeping up in output.

The LI is a great woofer; IMO you can't really go wrong with either driver. Model them up in your desired enclosure to see what works best.

agreed u cant go wrong with either....sundown is a little more underrated and will get a little louder but i love the sound of the lethal injections....clean responsive and precise

I have no experience with SA, but the LIs are amazing woofers Imo. I love mine. They get low and loud, while remaining verrrrry clean. Plus, they are just f*cking BEAUTIFUL ta look at. Yes, that matters ta me cuz I'm a girl.

well thanks everyone, just wanted to be a little different, so i could go with skar vvx, dc lvl2, ab xfl(depending on price}, Gcon(but thry need 2.5cubes?) Fi ssd

any other 12s i missed that will work in 1.85 net tuned mid 40s, around $200 ea.,getting close to 2k that would be best for#s? i will go with the sa12 if thats the best choice.

I did a skar vvx12 tuned to 32 in 2.3 cubes on a hifonics 2k... And dayyumm that **** was loud... Was flexing the windshield in an 02 passat... And in a trunk

I know the vvx does well on the lows but not sure how they are around 50Hz.

Got a single gcon 12 in a 1.2 ported box, completely wrong size, in a hatch with a cadence z1200 and it f-ing hits. Not killer on the not so easy to hear bass but I can blame the lame enclosure.
