I'm just going off of common sense and deductive reasoning since there aren't any specs on IA's site.
DP= better daily driver sub. With it being so big, having a hefty VC, and it being such a low end monster, it's probably got a good deal of moving mass. More mms = lower fs. Large mms and lower fs = lower sensitivity.
Autotek= less well-rounded sub with minimal xmax(retro, pro audio look with W surround). Drawing from the t/s specs, it has a fs of 31hz, which is pretty high for a sub this size...which autmatically makes me think that it has generally lower moving mass then probably most 18's(maybe even some 15's), which renders it more efficient in most cases.
If the 21" DP is more sensitive than 93db 1w/1m or ~96db 2.83v/1m, then show me that I'm wrong. I was merely using an example for comparative pruposes, not trying to dog anything at all.
