ia 40.1 vs. ddm3

40.1 i would think has more output potential, but the m3 has a much lower failure rate and can be dropped pretty low, i know someone who blew up a z1a and went up in dbs with m3s tho....

I wish someone would clamp a IA 40.1 and give true results... The people who did clamp them said they were getting 7000+ watts @ 15v... If this is true ..awsome... If not I would like to see real numbers

If I'm not mistaken, djman37 on here clamped his that he was running at 16V. I believe he said he got around 16k out of a pair strapped at 1ohm(maybe a little less?).

Ok Here Is Real In Car Numbers

M3=4600 Watts On 2 Power Master D3100's, And .25 Ohm Load

40.1=5600 Watts In The Same Car At .33 Anything Lower They Clip Out

On 20 Power Master 16v Batts In My Truck The 40.1's Numbers Are As Followed

102acvx89ac Amps=9078 Watts At .33 For Over 164 Db's.

Thats About As Real As It Gets, And As Far As I Know I Am The Highest With 40.1's As To Date
