and i agree on IA's point. peple forget about retail prices and dealer cost and then they go by the prices on shitty refurbs that will pry blow up in a month or two. go look at sounddomain.com price for orion amps and then come back and ***** about IA's price. If i didnt just get a different high end amp id be all over this great deal......

i forgot which thread it was but i recall the orion 2500d getting beter scores than the IA20's when metered on like setups.....and the orions are sure as hell cheaper than 600+............

First, let me say I'm an IA fan like the rest of u guys.

But if I recall there's a certain Street Max 1-2 competitor down south who gets the exact same score with Orion 2500's as he does with 20.1's......

Both great amps, but I think 1000+ is a tad pricey for the power.

Just my opinion, which I'm entitled to......(for all u flamers about to jump me....lol)

2500's are not strappable - 20.1s are. I dont doubt for a second that the 20.1 will match a 2500 head to head. Strap a pair of 20.1s vs a single 2500 and its NO comparison.

the IA is rated at 1800x1@1 retail is 959.00

and the orion is rated at 2500x1@1 retail 1599.00

i think the 20.1 is a much better deal.

like stated earlier the online dealers are killin.

Online dealers ****. I absolutely hate getting price shopped at work by someone who has been shopping online, they fail to understand that often they are buying refurbs (inferior product) for a lower price, and are not getting a warranty or any of the other perks they get from buying through a dealer. I feel your pain IA. If I wanted an SPL amp I would probably be considering your 20.1

I thought the orion was under $600 direct, am I missing something? When hcca sells his stuff, its comes direct with a true warranty... doesnt it?

Whats the IA stable at daily? Any actual power ratings?

For reference, I'm running a 20.1 @ .35ohms DAILY...and have been for 2months. It's never even gotten "HOT"...
