After hearing a full day of prodding, irritating, and otherwise annoying smack, while I was installing, the match was set....

Within second of the match, the overwhelming onslaught of power brought to bear crushed the doomed 5.25, whose coil tapped bottom for about 1/2 second before releasing the magic smoke indicative of all electronic surrender...
Post mortem autopsy of the victim revealed that not only had the voice coil glue melted but the thin copper filaments consisting of the voice coil were charred beyond recognition. RIP little smack talking speaker.
The 6x9 viewing the whole spectacle on the wall remained quiet in the hopes of not being picked on.....
