i993 bucik lasabre remote start,wont

I have a 1993 buick LaSabre w/3800 motor, I have a viper 791xv alarm/remote start, I have everything working except that it will not remote start, is there something about this type of car that i`m missing it on? does it need the park/neutral switch connected befor it will start? I even hooked the 2nd ign wire up and it still will not start it doesn`t even activate...crazy becuase i have a hornet remote starter without the alarm and it works just fine but when i put the combo remote/start/alarm no go. I have the same alarm in another GM car(1996 Bonneville) and it works, I`m begiining to really dislike this car....alsowhere is the park/neutral switch located?

forget about the neutral safety switch, just ground the wire. Your car is an auto correct?

Black/white wire on the alarm.
